AJA HA5 HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter

The AJA HA5-Plus bridges HDMI devices into 3G-SDI workflows, converting an HDMI input to SDI output for monitoring and recording in the edit suite, on set, or at live events. It is a practical fit for DSLR shooters and smaller productions that need consumer and prosumer HDMI sources to behave properly inside professional SDI signal chains.

The equalized HDMI input supports runs up to 30 meters on 24 gauge cable, and up to eight channels of HDMI audio pass through to the SDI output, with two RCA jacks available for embedding analog audio. PLL clock filtering keeps the 3G-SDI output low jitter, an LED identifies SD or HD input at a glance, progressive 525p and 625p signals are accepted for DSLR compatibility, and USB setup runs through AJA MiniConfig on Mac or PC.
