The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G is a 2RU broadcast deck built for the move to IP, capturing up to eight independent channels of 10-bit 4:2:2 video in real time directly to network storage over dual 100G QSFP28 Ethernet. Designed around the SMPTE ST 2110 standard, it ingests all eight video feeds over a single network connection and records each one as an individual broadcast-quality Apple ProRes file, making it ideal for multi-camera ISO recording in live sports, events, and studio production where every camera angle needs to be saved for replay and post.

Powered by a processor Blackmagic rates as eight times more capable than the HyperDeck Studio 4K series, the unit sustains data transfer rates of roughly 12 gigabytes per second and records resolutions from 720p HD up to DCI 4K and Ultra HD 2160p60. It supports up to 64 channels of embedded audio per 2110 stream and writes ProRes 422 HQ, 422, LT, and Proxy. Built-in SMPTE ST 2022-7 seamless protection switching delivers redundant IP stream paths across two 2110 networks, while dual 100-240V AC power supplies and redundant storage connections keep recordings protected against single points of failure.

Running the same Blackmagic OS found on the company's digital film cameras, the HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G combines modern IP workflow with familiar broadcast operation. A machined-metal search dial with electronic clutch, full transport controls, and a 2.2-inch color LCD give operators precise, tactile clip navigation, backed by a built-in speaker and headphone monitoring. RS-422 deck control, NMOS IS-04/IS-05 discovery and connection management, a REST API, and USB-C configuration let it drop straight into existing automation and orchestration systems, and it interoperates with legacy SDI gear through Blackmagic's SDI Expander and StudioBridge converters.
