The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF 100G is a large-format digital film camera built for the most demanding cinema and live broadcast workflows. At its core is a 36 x 24mm (35.64 x 23.32mm) RGBW large-format sensor delivering native 12K resolution (12,288 x 8,040) and 16 stops of dynamic range, paired with Blackmagic Generation 6 Color Science for rich, true-to-life color at every resolution. Capturing in 12-bit Blackmagic RAW up to 12K 3:2 open gate, the camera gives filmmakers exceptional latitude for grading, reframing, and finishing in DaVinci Resolve Studio, which is included.
What sets the 100G model apart is its 100 Gigabit Ethernet (QSFP28) interface, enabling uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 IP video for cinematic live production at frame rates up to 440 fps and outputs up to 2160p60. The body shoots Blackmagic RAW at up to 80 fps in 12K, 144 fps in 8K, and 240 fps in 4K, while built-in IR ND filters, a Live DaVinci hardware color corrector, and integrated RTMP/SRT streaming make it a complete production tool. High-speed Wi-Fi, mobile data, and 12G-SDI round out a connectivity set engineered for both on-set capture and remote IP-based broadcast.
Supplied as a body-only configuration, this 100G version ships with a locking Canon EF lens mount and the Blackmagic Media Module CF featuring dual CFexpress card slots, with optional PL, LPL, and B4 broadcast mounts available for broader lens compatibility. Combining feature-film image quality with broadcast-grade live networking, the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G is purpose-built for studios, rental houses, and production teams that need one camera to span high-end cinema and large-scale live events.
