Its bright, high-contrast display shows battery status for the receiver and transmitter, audio level, signal strength, and more.

Equipped with a high-caliber, pre-polarized, omnidirectional lavalier built into the transmitter’s compact housing, the BoomX-D delivers quality audio without demanding an external microphone.
The internal capsule’s omnidirectional polar pattern ensures reliable audio pickup even if mic placement is less than ideal, and the 80 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range naturally attenuates sub-bass tones such as rumble and boominess; your subject’s voice will be captured with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency.

Compatible with Most Lavalier Mics
Already have a top-of-the-line external lav? The transmitter packs in a 3.5mm TRS input with plug-in power, so you can connect most lavalier microphones equipped with a non-locking 3.5mm TRS mini plug and still enjoy the convenience of the BoomX-D.
The 3.5mm TRS external mic input passes wideband audio from 20 Hz to 20 kHz along to the internal mic preamp, which provides robust dynamic range and requires no manipulation of settings or parameters.

Globally Compatible with 2.4GHz
Like Comica’s popular ComicaLink wireless systems, the BoomX-D system utilizes the 2.4 GHz frequency band to get you away from the congested and confusing domain of UHF.
Courtesy of Comica’s optimized transmission algorithm, the BoomX-D empowers you with a range of up to 164 feet and bolsters signal dependability to mitigate drop-outs in crowded short-range environments such as retail stores, malls, office buildings, and hotels.
Note: For optimal performance from this 2.4 GHz system, users are encouraged to maintain as direct a line of sight as possible between the transmitter and receiver.

Key Components
The Comica BoomX-D series consists of three main components:
A “traditional” belt-pack transmitter and receiver set. You can connect up to two transmitters to one receiver.
A tiny receiver that is smartphone-compatible. The smartphone receiver is available in two versions, one with a lightning connector for iPhones and one with a USB Type-C port for Android shooters.

The receiver has one 3.5mm jack output as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can mount the traditional belt pack onto your smartphone and record directly onto your mobile phone with the included 3.mm TRS to TRSS cable. On the side of the receiver, there are two buttons to adjust the volume input of each transmitter separately.
The Comica BoomX-D belt packs are powered by an internal, built-in 300mAh battery that should last for up to five hours. You can recharge the battery via the USB Type-C port. At the back of the belt pack, there is a belt clip to put on your talent.
