Sending a mixer tape or mix output to a Sennheiser wireless transmitter takes an adapter that fits the transmitter locking input, and the CASDT3/3.5 is made for it. It runs 18 in from a TA3 female to a 3.5mm TRS locking plug.

The stereo output is summed to mono, so both channels of the tape/mix feed reach the transmitter. The locking plug helps keep the connection secure on a moving rig.
