RED Epic and Scarlet cameras accept balanced audio on a 3.5mm jack, so a regular XLR feed needs a dedicated adapter. The CAX3F1/8BAL connects an XLR3F to a right-angle 3.5mm TRS plug with balanced wiring.

At 12 inches it is sized for the camera body, and the right-angle plug keeps the cable low.
