The Roland PM-200 is a high-powered 180-watt personal monitor engineered specifically for Roland V-Drums electronic drum kits. Delivering more than double the output of the PM-100, the PM-200 accommodates larger rooms, louder acoustic environments, and band rehearsal settings where the drummer needs to hear their V-Drums sound clearly above the mix. A custom 12-inch (30 cm) woofer and horn tweeter reproduce the full dynamic range of V-Drums output with exceptional clarity and impact.

Connectivity mirrors the PM-100's focused design: a dedicated stereo V-Drums input (1/4-inch, –6 dBu) and a general line input accepting both 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo sources for blending drum sounds with backing tracks. Independent volume controls and a two-band EQ (BASS and TREBLE) give the drummer real-time monitoring control without accessing the drum module. A balanced XLR DIRECT OUT — switchable between stereo and dual mono — allows the PM-200's audio to be sent directly to a PA system or recording interface.

The DIRECT OUT switch positions (stereo vs. dual mono) make the PM-200 equally useful as a stage monitor feeding a front-of-house mix and as a studio reference monitor for recording sessions. The full-width carry bar enables easy transport and floor placement, and the angled front baffle directs sound optimally toward a seated drummer at floor level.
