The DM2 TNT is an inline preamp designed to boost passive dynamic and ribbon microphones, giving you clean, reliable gain before the signal hits your main preamp, mixer, or audio interface. With selectable gain and impedance settings, it helps extract full detail and clarity even from low-output microphones — making it ideal for studio, podcasting, and live sound applications.
Compact and rugged, the DM2 TNT features a transformerless Class-A circuit, gold-plated XLR connectors, and a slim all-metal housing that’s built for long-term use on stage or in studio. A simple switch provides either +15 dB or +30 dB of clean gain, while eight impedance load settings let you match the preamp to your microphone’s output and your preamp’s input — helping avoid noise, coloration, or signal loss.
