The sE Electronics V KICK Black is a purpose-built dynamic microphone engineered to capture the deep, powerful low-end of kick drums, floor toms, bass cabinets, and other bass-heavy instruments. Its compact, rugged design makes it ideal for both live stage setups and studio recording sessions. With switchable voicings and a custom capsule tuned for low-frequency energy, the V KICK delivers punch, clarity, and dependable performance where it counts.
Equipped with a custom-tuned DMC7 dynamic capsule featuring an aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet, the V KICK offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 19 kHz — capturing full low-end punch and clear top-end definition. A built-in swivel joint allows flexible mic placement inside or outside a kick drum. The supercardioid polar pattern focuses on the source while minimizing spill from other drums and instruments. Two voicing switches let you shape the mic’s character from “classic” warm and rounded to “modern” punchy and aggressive.
Designed with durability in mind, the V KICK features an all-metal housing, spring-steel grille, and a gold-plated XLR connector to ensure a clean, reliable signal path show after show.
