The Seymour Duncan APH-2B Slash bridge humbucker is designed in collaboration with Slash to capture the fierce sustain, crunch, and vocal midrange heard on his classic recordings with Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, and his solo projects. Built around an Alnico 2 bar magnet and a custom winding spec, this pickup pushes a stock Les Paul-style guitar toward the familiar, singing lead voice of Slash’s original Derrig Les Paul copy.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, this Slash Signature Model humbucker uses traditional Seymour Duncan construction techniques, including a nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting for stability and reliability on stage and in the studio. Updated modern features such as Short Ear mounting legs and a 4-conductor cable make it easy to install in a wide variety of guitars and unlock advanced wiring options like coil-splitting, series/parallel, and phase switching.
