Description
Sprolink Airlink 4K Wireless HDMI and UVC Video Transmitter
The Sprolink Airlink is a professional-grade wireless video transmission system designed for live production, ENG/EFP field shoots, and multi-camera broadcast workflows. The kit includes a transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) that establish a stable, cable-free video link over distances up to 1000 ft (300 m), eliminating the logistics of long HDMI or SDI runs on fast-moving sets.
The Airlink transmits full 4K video over a dual-band 2.4 GHz + 5.8 GHz simultaneous wireless link with end-to-end latency under 60 ms, keeping camera operators and directors in sync during live events. The HDMI 2.0 loop-out port on the TX lets camera-side talent monitor the feed locally while the signal travels wirelessly to the RX. UVC plug-and-play output on both units means the receiver appears as a USB webcam to any laptop or streaming encoder with no driver installation required, streamlining capture-card-free streaming workflows.
One transmitter supports up to four receivers simultaneously, enabling directors of photography, script supervisors, and technical directors to each monitor the same feed independently. The integrated LCD status display and dual RP-SMA antenna connectors provide at-a-glance signal health and the flexibility to upgrade or directionally focus antennas for demanding venue environments. The system accepts power from VP-F series batteries or via Type-C 5V/2A for all-day, uninterrupted operation.
Key Features
- 4K Lossless HDMI Transmission: Supports signal formats up to 4K60, 4K30, 1080p60, and 720p50 over HDMI 2.0 for sharp, broadcast-quality wireless video.
- Under 60 ms Ultra-Low Latency: Dual-band 2.4 GHz + 5.8 GHz simultaneous transmission delivers sub-60 ms end-to-end delay for real-time monitoring over distances up to 1000 ft (300 m).
- HDMI + UVC Dual Output with Loop-Out: TX HDMI loop-out enables on-camera monitoring while the RX UVC output connects plug-and-play to any laptop or streaming PC without drivers.
- One-to-Four Multi-Receiver Broadcasting: A single TX unit feeds up to four RX units simultaneously, giving the entire production crew independent wireless monitor feeds.
- Flexible Power and Compact Form Factor: Compatible with VP-F series batteries or Type-C 5V/2A USB power; compact 118 x 71 x 28 mm body (excluding antennas) weighs approximately 210 g per unit for easy rigging on cameras, cages, or belt packs.
