Pirastro SRPK KorfkerRest Model 2 Adjustable Maple Violin Shoulder Rest

Pirastro KorfkerRest Model 2 Violin Shoulder Rest

The Pirastro KorfkerRest Model 2 Violin Shoulder Rest combines a bendable maple body with adjustable legs and rubber-covered feet. Players can refine its shape, position, height, and tilt to suit their shoulder and playing setup. The included ErgoPack adds joint configurations for further fitting adjustments, while replacement pads support ongoing maintenance.

For students, orchestral musicians, and chamber players choosing an adjustable maple shoulder rest, this design offers several ways to personalize instrument support. Shape the wooden body carefully according to the manual, then refine the leg settings. Musicians seeking a violin rest with height adjustment can also change its position relative to the shoulder or chest using the supplied fittings.

Pirastro identifies the violin version as article 700010 and supplies a Torx key, the star-shaped tool used for its adjustment screws. The ErgoPack contains barrel and flat joints that expand the available configurations, including options for narrower instruments. Rubber feet grip the instrument at its edges, while contact pads cushion the player-facing surface. Follow the manufacturer's setup instructions and check screw tightness after making adjustments.
