TOA Electronics N‑8010RS IP Network Sub-Station Controller

The TOA N‑8010RSCU is a high-performance IP network sub-station controller designed to complement TOA’s N‑8010EX intercom systems. This controller enables seamless communication between stations and sub-stations, providing reliable half-duplex conversations over analog baseband lines. With support for up to 16 lines and a single speech link, the N‑8010RSCU ensures clear, hands-on communication for medium to large-scale facilities, including offices, factories, and commercial buildings.

Equipped with a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX network interface, the N‑8010RSCU integrates smoothly into existing IP infrastructures. It supports TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, RTP, ARP, ICMP, and IGMP protocols and allows audio packet transmission through both unicast and multicast systems. Voice sampling frequencies can be configured between 8 kHz and 16 kHz with 16-bit quantization, while Sub-band ADPCM encoding and optional cryptosystem support ensure secure, high-quality audio delivery even under packet loss conditions.

Installation is highly flexible. The N‑8010RSCU can be mounted in a standard rack, placed on a desk, or surface-mounted using included brackets. Constructed with a black pre-coated steel chassis and forced-air cooling, the unit is built for continuous operation. Its robust design and operational tolerance-from 32 °F to 104 °F and up to 90% relative humidity-make it suitable for a wide variety of indoor environments.
