The Formatt Hitech Blender ND Grad is a standard dye based glass neutral density filter. Blender grads are much like soft edge grads however they maintain a graduated ND effect over the entire filter. Blender ND Grads are versatile filters used to balance the luminosity of a bright sky with the terrain below. The constant graduation allows for handheld cinema work where a soft edge grad effect might be seen as the camera moves. The filters are made from 4mm thick Schott Superwite glass, and the dyed ND substrate is bonded in the middle to increase scratch resistance. Perfect for modern cinema cameras with robust built in IR blocking OLPFs including RED, Arri, Canon, Panasonic and many others.
