The D‑Box™ is a custom power distribution module specifically designed for the Sony VENICE and VENICE 2 cameras. It enhances power management, standardized remote start/stop functionality, and hot-swap capability. The main unit replaces the back plate or mounts to the AXS-R7, while the contoured Power Strip attaches to the top right side of the camera via a 3‑pin Fischer connector and tape-hook threaded hole.
The Power Strip is shaped to match the camera body, enabling cable routing without interference and offering ARRI-standard remote control via the Fischer port (compatible with ARRI UMC‑4/WCU‑4). The DC input port mirrors the camera’s 4‑pin XLR, allowing seamless power transitions from block batteries or external AC supplies—camera power remains uninterrupted when both sources are connected.
