The ZSG-1 is a super-cardioid, back-electret condenser shotgun mic that elevates on-camera audio with focused off-axis rejection and a tailored frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Its lightweight, 40 g construction mounts seamlessly to any hot shoe and connects via the included 3.5 mm stereo mini cable for plug-in power operation between 2V and 5V. Ideal for DSLR, mirrorless, and smartphone rigs, the ZSG-1 delivers clear dialogue and performance capture without a boom pole.
Featuring solid-state circuitry and a Φ 14 mm diaphragm, it withstands up to 118 dB SPL before clipping, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 70 dB and an EIN level under 24 dB A-weighted. The included SMM-3 shock mount and WSM-3 windscreen reduce handling noise and plosives, making it perfect for run-and-gun filmmaking and vlogging scenarios.
