The Warm Audio WA-CVB Overdrive Pedal is the Blackout edition of the Centavo, a vintage-inspired boost and drive pedal built around a three-control circuit with buffered bypass. Gain, Treble, and Output controls cover clean boosting through saturated overdrive, while a rear MOD switch extends low-frequency response for a fuller response on lower guitar strings.

Designed for electric guitar rigs, pedalboards, and amplifier front ends, the Centavo can add output level with restrained clipping or provide progressively stronger drive as Gain increases. The active Treble circuit shapes the upper response, while the dedicated Output control sets the final level. Its Blackout finish gives this WA-CVB variant a subdued appearance while retaining the full-size Centavo control layout.

Warm Audio builds the circuit with TL072 operational amplifiers, vintage-style diodes, carbon and metal-film resistors, and a charge-pump voltage regulator. Buffered bypass keeps the signal path active when the effect is disengaged. Standard 1/4-inch instrument connections and operation from either a 9V battery or 9V DC pedal supply make the pedal compatible with conventional professional and home guitar setups.
