ADJ WMX1 MK3 Standalone DMX Lighting Controller Powered by Wolfmix

The ADJ WMX1 MK3 is a standalone DMX lighting controller powered by Wolfmix that runs a complete light show without a computer. Plug it into your fixtures, pick profiles from the onboard library and start mixing colors, movement and beam effects from a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, backlit buttons and four encoders. It fits mobile DJs, bands, houses of worship and small venues that want hands-on control of moving heads, LED pars, bars and effects without the learning curve of a software console.

Under the hood the MK3 drives up to four DMX universes and 2,048 channels, enough for about 680 fixtures across 50 device types, with more than 3,500 fixture profiles stored onboard and over 15,000 available through the free WTOOLS app. Separate Color, Move and Beam FX engines each offer eight effect types with speed, phase, size, fade and fan parameters, and the new Fixture Clusters feature splits multi-element fixtures into named sections. Music sync comes from a built-in microphone or a 3.5 mm line input, and BPM can also follow Ableton Link, OS2L, manual tap or USB MIDI clock.

The third-generation hardware adds a refined enclosure designed to sit alongside the upcoming WMX WING expansion controller, an updated button mechanism, USB-C power input and an integrated 100 mm VESA mounting pattern. Six project memories, 200 preset slots with hold and fade timing, eight fixture groups, a DMX channel tester and automatic gobo alignment round out a controller that is ready to gig straight out of the box.
