AJA 1-Channel 12G-SDI to Single Mode LC Fiber Transmitter
AJA's FiDO 1-channel 12G-SDI to single mode LC fiber transmitter carries SDI signals up to 10 km (32,808 ft) over standard single-mode fiber optic cable, offering flexible and cost-efficient 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber conversion. Its compact, low-profile Mini-Converter enclosure suits tight spots behind equipment racks, in trucks, and on camera rigs where space is limited.
The unit is format agnostic from 270 Mbps to 12 Gbps, with a 12G-SDI BNC input and a reclocked SDI loop out alongside the simplex LC fiber output. SDI metadata, including HDR, passes through intact, and reclocking auto-selects standard rates from 270 Mbps to 11.880 Gbps. A locking connector secures the included universal power supply, draw is 2 watts maximum, and the converter is covered by a five year warranty.
