AJA 12G-AMA 12G-SDI 4-Channel Balanced Audio Embedder with Fiber Options
The AJA 12G-AMA is a four-channel balanced analog audio embedder and disembedder built around 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. It belongs anywhere analog audio has to enter or leave an SDI stream, such as feeding a mixer from embedded program audio and returning the mix into the signal path for recording, with fiber I/O models offered in LC and ST options.
Disembedding stays active at all times across four analog outputs, while embedding is selectable per channel pair to either pass the incoming SDI audio or insert analog audio from the supplied XLR breakout cable, which carries four inputs and four outputs over eight connectors. Analog levels are selectable, the input video standard is detected and configured automatically, and an internal 1.5G-SDI signal generator lets the embed path run without a connected SDI source.
