The AJA Hi5-12G converts 12G-SDI signals to HDMI 2.0 with pristine image fidelity, and this receiver model ships with a Fiber LC single-channel SFP module for accepting 4K signals over long distances. It gives broadcast and production facilities an easy, cost-effective monitoring connection from professional 4K 12G-SDI devices to displays equipped with HDMI 2.0 inputs, over a single cable.

High frame rate support reaches 60p for 4K and UltraHD, with 12-bit workflows accommodated. The converter generates HDR10 metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b/CTA-861-G and supports HLG over HDMI. A 12G-SDI single link input includes a reclocked SDI loop out for confidence monitoring, while Video Source Auto Switch Over provides automatic changeover between SDI and optical inputs with configurable priority. Power is 5-16 VDC with a universal supply included, backed by a five year warranty.

• *Hi5-12G devices use approximately 11 watts of power and convection cooling. It will be very warm to the touch, which is normal. When installing a unit, mount in a location where the device has access to air for proper cooling. Do not stack a Hi5-12G device with other Mini-Converters.
