The Allen & Heath GX4816 is a revolutionary 96 kHz audio expander, designed to provide high-input-count remote expansion for the SQ, Avantis, and dLive mixing systems, as well as for the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. Offering seamless integration, this expander is perfect for both live sound and studio applications. With 48 dLive mic preamps and independent Phantom Power LED indicators, the GX4816 guarantees unparalleled sound quality and reliability. Furthermore, each unit is equipped with 16 XLR line outputs, ensuring flexibility in a variety of audio routing scenarios.
The GX4816 connects effortlessly via a single Cat5e cable to an SLink socket on SQ, Avantis, or AHM-64 systems, or to a gigaACE audio network card on dLive systems. The additional 2 DX ports allow for further I/O expansion through the connection of up to 4 DX expanders. Moreover, the DX2 socket facilitates integration with the ME Personal Mixing System, providing customized monitoring solutions. Designed with ease of use in mind, the GX4816 features plug-and-play operation, requiring no IP addressing.
