amaran Ray 60c 60W Full-Color RGB COB LED Video Light with Octa Dome 30

Point-source color in a body thinner than most phone batteries: the amaran Ray 60c packs a 60W full-color COB engine into a 4.4 cm thick, 528 g Bowens-mount fixture that stays in a jacket pocket until it is needed. Despite the size it delivers 3,910 lux at one meter bare and 4,021 lumens of output, more than 50% brighter than the COB 60x S at roughly half the volume.

The OmniColor light engine is what sets the Ray series apart. It mixes a fuller spectrum than conventional RGBWW arrays, so skin tones land where you expect them and saturated colors hold their hue at low intensity. Color temperature runs 2,300K to 10,000K in standard mode and stretches to 1,800K-20,000K in CCT+ mode, with CRI and TLCI ratings of 95+, TM-30 Rf 94 and Rg 100, and SSI scores of 80 (D56) and 87 (D32). A TFT display and the amaran app handle CCT, HSI, gels, effects and firmware updates over Bluetooth.

Power is flexible. Feed the Ray 60c from the included 90W AC adapter, from a DC 12-24V source, from any USB-C PD 3.0 power bank, or clip on the amaran Ace E-Lock battery and run with no cable at all. The IP54 rating shrugs off dust and light rain, active cooling stays under 28 dBA, and the US kit ships ready to shoot with the Octa Dome 30 softbox, diffusion cloth, light-control grid, a baby-pin adapter grip and a carrying bag.
