The Arturia BI-TRON Phaser Plug-In is a multi-functional phaser with a distinctive retro sci-fi charm that's perfect for your virtual studio. The pedal is modeled after one of the most sought-after guitar pedals in history and features an all-encompassing sound that is sure to stun.
More Than Just a Phaser
The Phaser BI-TRON is more than just a phaser. It's a simple concept that has been expanded to its outer limits, resulting in a definitive sound that was ahead of its time. The pedal's 2 sweep generators, dual 12-stage phaser circuits, and mind-bending routing options give you an unprecedented stereo modulation palette with a distinct sonic character.
Analog Character
The Phaser BI-TRON has an analog character that was carefully analyzed and emulated to replicate every subtle detail and sonic trait of the original pedal. The result is a perfectly authentic response that will transport you back to the golden age of modulation.
Manual Pedal Control
The pedal comes with an expression pedal feature that lets you manipulate both LFO rates and both Phasor circuits. You also get the additional option of envelope control, which adds a responsive sidechain effect to your sound.
Choose Your Route
The Phaser BI-TRON can be run in mono or stereo, series or parallel, giving you the flexibility to create a unique sound that's tailored to your needs.
Presets
The Phaser BI-TRON also comes with a curated selection of 37 presets that give you instant access to the pedal's double-barrelled energy.
Rebuilding a Legend
The Phaser BI-TRON is a tribute to the Mu-Tron Bi-Phase, the world's first dual phaser that was popularized by everyone from Smashing Pumpkins to Prince. The pedal was studied, remade, and enhanced using proprietary TAE® technology, resulting in a faithful replication of every detail, including the control panel and expression pedal functionality.
The Power of Duality
The key to the Phaser BI-TRON's colorful sound is the fact that everything is doubled. The pedal's independent sweep generators (LFOs) offer 3 waveforms each, tempo sync, and the option of pedal control. These can be used to modulate both (or either) of the 2 Phasor circuits, each with their own LFO depth, feedback and pedal controls.
