The AtlasIED DA-APX is a rugged, weather-resistant IP PoE amplified horn speaker designed for outdoor use. Featuring Audinate’s Dante digital audio transport platform, this speaker offers high-output sound with a controlled 60° x 40° constant-dispersion pattern across a wide frequency range from 400Hz to 7.5kHz. Its rotating bell pivots in precise 15° increments, allowing exact on-site positioning for optimal sound projection, while a triple lock security mounting system ensures fast installation and long-term stability.
Equipped with an internal PoE amplifier that supports both PoE and PoE+ power modes, the DA-APX delivers up to 20-watts RMS power in single channel mode and supports dual channel mode with a secondary amplifier output for an 8Ω passive speaker. Configurable via the AtlasIED IP Discovery and Control software, this speaker enables advanced system management including custom naming, group control, and an audible ping-me locator for easy identification. Its sturdy die-cast base can be mounted on various surfaces or standard electrical boxes for versatile installation.
