Description
Atomos Shogun AV-19M 19-Inch 4K HDR Rackmount Monitor
The Atomos Shogun AV-19M 19-inch 4K HDR rackmount monitor provides large-format confidence monitoring for live production, broadcast, studios, OB vehicles, video villages, and flypack systems. Its 3840 x 2160 touchscreen reaches 1200 nits and supports NDI HX3, 12G-SDI, and HDMI workflows in a standard 19" 7RU chassis.
Designed for productions that already use dedicated recording and switching equipment, the AV-19M focuses on monitoring rather than integrated recording. It can display one NDI HX3 source full-screen or up to four networked NDI feeds in quad-view, while single SDI and HDMI sources support monitoring up to 4K60. HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion further simplifies mixed-interface installations.
Professional image evaluation tools include waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, zebras, Atomos false color, ARRI false color, EL Zone, anamorphic de-squeeze, frame guides, safe areas, and custom 3D LUTs. A 10-bit display pipeline, DCI-P3 coverage, XLR audio outputs, Ethernet, USB-C, assignable function buttons, and rack-integrated mounting support demanding production environments.
Key Features
- 19" UHD 4K Touchscreen: Provides a 3840 x 2160 large-format display with capacitive touch control for production monitoring.
- 1200-Nit HDR Display: Delivers bright monitoring with 99% DCI-P3 coverage and support for HLG, PQ, Log, and LUT-based workflows.
- NDI HX3 Quad-View: Displays one networked NDI HX3 feed full-screen or up to four NDI sources simultaneously.
- 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0: Supports professional video input and output up to 4K60 for conventional production systems.
- Comprehensive Monitoring Tools: Includes waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, focus peaking, zebras, false color, EL Zone, framing tools, and anamorphic de-squeeze.
- Six Assignable Function Buttons: Provides fast physical access to frequently used monitoring functions during live production.
- Professional Audio Monitoring: Routes embedded audio through dual XLR outputs, a headphone jack, and a built-in confidence speaker.
- 7RU Rackmount Design: Integrates directly into standard 19" production racks without requiring a separate VESA mounting system.
NDI HX3 Monitoring and Quad-View
The AV-19M receives NDI HX3 video through its RJ45 Ethernet connection. Operators can view one network source across the full display or combine as many as four NDI sources into a quad-view layout, providing multifeed confidence monitoring without adding a separate network multiview display.
12G-SDI and HDMI Production Connectivity
A 12G-SDI input and output support 6G- and 3G-SDI signals, while HDMI 2.0 input and output handle video up to 4K60. Internal HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion helps the monitor bridge mixed production equipment while maintaining a streamlined rack installation.
HDR, Log, and LUT Monitoring
The 1200-nit panel supports Native, HLG, PQ, and 3D LUT monitoring modes. Custom .Cube LUTs can use 17-point or 33-point formats, while downstream LUT processing allows monitored looks to pass through the output. Log and HDR signals can also be converted for HLG or PQ viewing.
Professional Exposure and Focus Tools
Waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, adjustable zebras, blue-only viewing, Atomos false color, ARRI false color, and EL Zone provide multiple ways to evaluate exposure and image quality. Cine and social frame guides, safe areas, grid markers, zoom, and anamorphic de-squeeze assist composition and lens workflows.
Rack, Studio, and Mobile Production Design
The aluminum and ABS enclosure incorporates standard 19" rack ears in a 7RU form factor. Active fan and heat-sink cooling supports sustained operation, while a front tally indicator and six assignable function buttons provide useful status and control features in control rooms, mobile racks, and portable production systems.
