The Audio-Technica AT4053b Hypercardioid Studio Condenser Microphone is a versatile studio performer designed to meet the most critical acoustic requirements of professional recording, broadcast, and sound reinforcement. With its direct-coupled balanced outputs, this microphone delivers clean signals even in high-output conditions, eliminating the distortion often associated with conventional transformer-coupled outputs. The AT4053b responds quickly to transients, ensuring open, transparent reproduction of even the most challenging instruments.
The AT4053b is fully RoHS-compliant, making it free from all substances specified in the EU directive on the reduction of hazardous substances. This microphone consists of two modular subassemblies: an AT4900b-48 body and an AT4053b-EL hypercardioid head capsule, both of which can be purchased separately. Additionally, interchangeable capsules are available in omnidirectional (AT4049b-EL) and cardioid (AT4051b-EL) configurations, broadening the microphone's adaptability for various professional miking applications.
