The Audio-Technica BPCB4 is the genuine replacement cable for the Audio-Technica BPHS1-XF4 broadcast stereo communications headset. Purpose-built for intercom and broadcast communications workflows, this 2.0 m (6.5') shielded cable restores a worn or damaged headset cable in seconds, keeping announcers, camera operators, and production crews on the air without replacing the entire headset.
Unlike the standard BPCB1 cable for the BPHS1 (which terminates in an XLRM microphone connector plus a 1/4" headphone plug), the BPCB4 terminates in a single 4-pin female XLRF-type connector, matching the BPHS1-XF4's intercom-style wiring for direct connection to beltpacks and comms systems from Clear-Com, RTS, and similar party-line intercoms. At the headset end, the cable uses Audio-Technica's proprietary multi-pin locking connector: simply loosen the thumb screw, pull the old cable's connector from its socket, plug in the BPCB4, and re-tighten the thumb screw.
