Audix FIREBALL Cardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone
The Audix FireBall is a dynamic instrument microphone specially designed for harmonicas (both diatonic and chromatic) and beatbox performance. It delivers clear and accurate sound reproduction while handling sound pressure levels (SPL) exceeding 140 dB without distortion. This makes it ideal for live stage performances as well as studio recording applications.
Featuring a smooth, uniform frequency response from 50 Hz to 16 kHz and a cardioid pickup pattern, the FireBall provides excellent isolation and feedback control. Its compact, lightweight design offers comfort and ease of use. The microphone is built with a precision-machined aluminum body, a steel mesh grill, and finished with a unique three-stage marbled anodized coating for durability and style.
Since the FireBall is a low impedance microphone, using it with a guitar amplifier requires a quality low-to-high impedance transformer (such as the Audix T50k) for optimal performance.
