The AVPro Edge AC-MXNET-SW48P 48-Port Managed PoE+/PoE++ Network Switch is a high-density MXnet 1G platform for large AV-over-IP systems. It combines 48 Gigabit copper ports, six 25Gbps SFP28 uplinks, a shared 740W PoE budget, and preconfigured multicast controls in a 1U rackmount chassis.

This 48-port PoE network switch suits whole-building video distribution, hospitality, casino, education, corporate, and large residential installations. Its 150Gbps uplink capacity provides substantial bandwidth for stacked MXnet deployments, while PoE++ support on ports 41 through 48 accommodates compatible endpoints requiring up to 90W from a single connection.

AVPro Edge preconfigures IGMP Snooping, VLAN segmentation, and Quality of Service for MXnet 1G Version 1 and Version 2 systems. A 396Gbps switching fabric, 295 Mpps forwarding rate, large address tables, and jumbo-frame support help maintain predictable multicast performance as the endpoint count grows. The system supports up to four switch hops without recurring licensing costs.
