The Behringer Tube ULTRAGAIN MIC300 is an audiophile vacuum tube preamplifier that brings classic analog warmth to microphones, instruments, and line-level sources in a compact desktop package. Built around a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube, the MIC300 delivers the rich, musical saturation that engineers prize on vocals, acoustic guitar, bass DI, and synths, making it an affordable way to add vintage tube character to any home studio, podcast rig, or live setup.
At the heart of the MIC300 is a carefully tuned hybrid circuit that blends tube and transistor stages, so the amount of harmonic coloration grows naturally as you push the gain. With up to 60 dB of variable gain and switchable +48V phantom power, it drives demanding condenser microphones with ease, while a 20 dB pad handles hot signals without distortion. A built-in output limiter keeps peaks under control to prevent clipping during tracking and live performance.
Connectivity is flexible thanks to balanced 1/4" TRS and gold-plated XLR inputs and outputs, letting you patch the MIC300 into an interface, mixer, or recorder however your workflow demands. A phase-reverse switch and an 8-segment LED level meter round out the front panel, giving you precise control and clear visual feedback so you can dial in the perfect tube tone every time.
