The Behringer PHARA-O MINI is a pocket-sized analog paraphonic synthesizer built for hands-on sound design, beat making, and on-the-go music production. Its all-analog signal path runs three voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) through a single filter and amplifier, delivering the warm, characterful tones that define classic analog synth voices in a remarkably compact and portable instrument.
At the heart of the PHARA-O MINI is a vintage-inspired low-pass filter with a 12 dB/octave slope plus dedicated cutoff and resonance controls, letting you sculpt everything from smooth bass and lush pads to screaming leads. A multi-waveform LFO and a single ADSR envelope route modulation to pitch, filter cutoff, and volume, while a multimode ring modulator on the square wave adds gritty, metallic textures that cut through a mix. Sawtooth and square waveforms give you the raw material for fat unisons, biting leads, and evolving polyphonic chords.
Performance and workflow are front and center thanks to a 27-key touch-sensitive keyboard with six play modes (poly, unison, octaves, fifths, ring unison, and ring poly) and a 16-step motion sequencer with 10 memory locations and parameter recording. A built-in delay effect adds depth and space, and the flexible I/O set, including USB-C, MIDI In, sync in/out, and a 3.5mm headphone output, makes it easy to integrate with grooveboxes, DAWs, and other gear. USB-C bus power means you can run it from a phone, power bank, computer, or USB adapter for true grab-and-go portability.
