BirdDog's X5 Ultra is a 4K PTZ camera built for demanding productions, combining a Sony 4K60 image sensor with an advanced motor drive system for ultra-fine, natural-looking movement on air. It suits broadcasters, event producers, and venues that need precise robotic camerawork, full-size video connectivity, and network performance strong enough to anchor an NDI-based production.

The 1/2.8-inch Sony sensor delivers 2160p60 through 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, USB-C UVC, and a 1Gb network port with PoE+ (802.3at). BirdDog's NDI|HX3 implementation runs at full 4K60 alongside NDI|HX2, SRT, RTSP, and RTMP, and a built-in NDI|HX decoder feeds the HDMI outputs. The daylight-visible Halo tally, expanded neural processing for AI tracking, dual e-ink displays, pan and tilt speeds up to 200 degrees per second, and a maximum 28dB noise figure complete the package.
