The Blackmagic Design ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20 is a 1RU combination monitoring converter and control panel purpose-built for the ATEM Constellation IP live production switcher. It receives redundant SMPTE-2110 IP video over two 10G Ethernet connections and converts them to 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs, so engineers get clean local rack monitoring without needing a separate IP-to-baseband converter. A built-in HD LCD shows live video right on the front panel, making this a space-efficient solution for IP broadcast facilities, OB trucks, and master control rooms.
Beyond monitoring, the panel puts hands-on switcher control at the rack with 22 backlit LED buttons for source selection, setup, and emergency switching, plus a broadcast-standard 5-pin XLR talkback connection for intercom communication. Dual redundant 10G connections support SMPTE ST 2022-7 seamless protection switching, while a dedicated 1G management port handles switcher communication and NMOS control for clean integration into modern IP routing infrastructures.
Engineered for mission-critical live production, the ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20 includes two independent internal 100-240V AC power supplies with separate IEC inlets, ensuring a single power failure never takes the panel offline during a broadcast.
