The Blackmagic Cloud Store Ultra 24TB is an extremely high-performance shared network storage solution built for demanding broadcast, post-production, and live-production workflows. Housed in a compact 1RU rackmount chassis, it pairs a 12-card RAID 0 flash memory core with M.2 NVMe SSD technology to deliver the sustained throughput modern teams need for high-resolution and ISO-recorded media. With dual 100G QSFP28 Ethernet ports, the Cloud Store Ultra can serve a HyperDeck Extreme ISO recorder on one network while simultaneously feeding dozens of local edit workstations on the other, all from a single high-speed flash array.
Designed for reliability in data-center and machine-room environments, the Cloud Store Ultra features server-style front-to-rear cooling, six redundant fans, and two redundant internal power supplies so a single failure never takes storage offline. Each 100G port can be assigned an independent IP address and subnet mask, enabling up to 200G of aggregate bandwidth and load balancing when used with a managed switch, or full network isolation and redundancy when run as two separate networks. RAID 5 reformatting adds parity-based data protection, allowing files to be rebuilt after replacing a card.
Blackmagic Cloud Sync lets teams distribute and synchronize files globally, turning local storage into a connected part of a worldwide collaborative pipeline. A built-in 2.2 inch LCD with spin knob handles setup and shows storage name, capacity, and usage, while dedicated HDMI and SDI monitor outputs present a real-time visual overview of storage status, bandwidth, connected users, and synchronization activity on any broadcast monitor. Setup and software updates are handled over USB-C using the free Cloud Store Setup utility for macOS and Windows.
