The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF 100G is the world's first large-format digital film camera with built-in 100G Ethernet for high-frame-rate SMPTE-2110 live production. Built around a 36 x 24mm large-format RGBW sensor delivering full 12K resolution and 16 stops of dynamic range, it captures Blackmagic RAW up to 12K 3:2 open gate with Generation 5 Color Science for natural skin tones, rich saturated color, and effortless grading in post. A single body bridges cinematic on-set capture and broadcast IP workflows, letting productions shoot 12K RAW and switch instantly to real-time SMPTE-2110 output.
Engineered for demanding cinema and live broadcast environments, the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G shoots Blackmagic RAW at up to 80 fps in 12K, 144 fps in 8K, and 240 fps in 4K, while its 100G QSFP28 interface streams cinematic-quality SMPTE-2110 IP video with high-frame-rate slow motion up to 440 fps. Dual 12G-SDI outputs, built-in IR ND filters, dual 5-inch 1500-nit monitoring screens, Wi-Fi, and integrated RTMP and SRT live streaming make it a complete production tool for film, episodic, sports, and live events.
This configuration ships as the camera body with the locking EF lens mount installed and a Media Module CF for high-speed recording, and includes DaVinci Resolve Studio for a fully integrated capture-to-post pipeline. Interchangeable PL, LPL, and B4 broadcast mounts are available, and the camera pairs with the Blackmagic Media Dock Ultra and Media Module 8TB for extended high-resolution recording.
