The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 17K 65 is a revolution in digital cinema, built around an extremely large-format 50.81mm x 23.32mm 65mm RGBW sensor delivering a staggering 17,520 x 8,040 (17K) resolution with 16 stops of dynamic range. Its oversized photo-sites and Generation 5 Color Science with the new film curve produce remarkably clean shadows, smooth highlight roll-off, and the kind of medium-format depth and detail demanded by IMAX-style large-screen productions, high-end commercials, and premium episodic and feature work. Recording Blackmagic RAW directly to a built-in 8TB Blackmagic Media Module, the camera captures over four hours of 17K footage on a single module while keeping files manageable for real-time editing in the included DaVinci Resolve Studio.

This is the Body model (part CINEURSAAD17K65B), engineered for cinematographers who already own rigging, power, and accessory ecosystems and want to build a custom configuration. It ships with the interchangeable PL lens mount and the 8TB media module but excludes the top handle, baseplate, power supply, battery plate, and LPL mount, letting you integrate it into existing camera builds. A dedicated assist station with a second 5-inch HDR LCD touchscreen, plus industry-standard Lemo and Fischer connections, gives camera assistants familiar, professional control on set.

Connectivity is built for modern high-resolution workflows: dual 12G-SDI outputs, high-speed 10G Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB-C cellular support enable fast media offload and syncing to Blackmagic Cloud, plus built-in SRT and RTMP live streaming.
