The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Mount B4 is an interchangeable lens mount that lets you fit professional B4 broadcast and box lenses to the large-format Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K camera. Engineered specifically for live production, sports, and replay workflows, the mount incorporates precision optics with spherical aberration correction that are matched to the URSA Cine RGBW sensor, so you retain the image quality, color science, and dynamic range broadcast operators expect when shooting with familiar 2/3-inch broadcast glass.
Because B4 lenses are designed for smaller broadcast sensors, this mount applies a B4 crop and uses its built-in optics to deliver clean, full-resolution images. On the URSA Cine 12K it enables 4.6K B4 crop 16:9 capture at frame rates up to 240 fps, making it ideal for high-frame-rate slow-motion replay, multi-camera live events, and ENG-style production where servo zoom broadcast lenses with their long focal ranges and back-focus controls are essential.
The URSA Cine Mount B4 swaps in like the camera's other interchangeable mounts (PL, LPL, and EF), giving rental houses, broadcasters, and live production facilities the flexibility to repurpose a single URSA Cine body across cinema and broadcast jobs. For full lens control, pair it with the separate Blackmagic URSA Cine B4 Adapter Cable, which converts the camera's 7-pin EXT connector to the 12-pin Hirose control connection used by professional broadcast B4 lenses.
