With a bright 1920 x 1200 LCD capacitive touchscreen rated at 2000 nits, the display stays clear and readable even under harsh stage and outdoor lighting, while the included removable sunshade further improves visibility in high ambient light. The touchscreen acts as a direct extension of the camera, so operators can navigate menus, adjust settings, and apply overlays such as focus peaking, frame guides and histograms without taking their eyes off the action.
Built for fast-paced multi-camera and broadcast workflows, the URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder pairs its high brightness HDR panel with tactile physical controls. Dedicated knobs for brightness, contrast and focus peaking sit alongside customizable function buttons (F1, F2, F3) and a tally indicator, allowing camera operators to dial in their view instantly. Dual grab handles let the operator position the monitor independently from the camera, and the articulated mounting yoke with variable tension pivots supports smooth pan, tilt and height adjustments for comfortable, ergonomic operation during long shoots.
Connection and setup are remarkably simple. A single USB-C cable with a secure locking connector carries video, power, metadata, camera control and even software updates between the viewfinder and the URSA Cine, eliminating cable clutter and reducing rigging time.
