The Blustream CAT100EARC HDMI eARC/ARC audio extender kit sends television return audio over a single CAT cable to compatible audio equipment. It extends HDMI return audio up to 100m or optical signals up to 200m. An integrated digital-to-analog converter (DAC) also provides stereo output from two-channel PCM sources.

Designed for installations that separate the display from the audio system, this kit connects a television to a remote receiver or processor. Use it for long-distance TV audio return in home theaters or installed AV systems. A transmitter switch selects HDMI or optical operation, while Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) pass-through supports communication in HDMI mode. Bidirectional Power over Cable (PoC) lets installers connect the supplied adapter at either end.

Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) operation accommodates multichannel PCM and supported immersive formats, including Dolby Atmos, when connected equipment supports them. Standard Audio Return Channel (ARC) and optical modes provide separate format capabilities for compatible systems. The receiver's analog output requires stereo PCM and does not downmix surround sound. Included mounting hardware and dedicated firmware ports support installation and ongoing service.
