The Blustream HEX18G-KIT HDMI HDBaseT extender kit carries uncompressed 4K video and audio up to 100m over one CAT6A cable. Its transmitter and receiver support HDMI 2.0 signals up to 18Gbps, including 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, plus bidirectional infrared, RS-232 and power delivery.

Use this uncompressed HDMI extension system to connect remotely located source equipment and displays in home theaters or professional AV installations. HDR10 and HDR10+ support accommodates compatible High Dynamic Range content without video compression or color-space conversion. For long-distance 4K display connections, the included infrared accessories provide a control path alongside the picture. Bidirectional RS-232 also supports integration with compatible control equipment.

HDBaseT 3.0 transports the HDMI signal directly between the included endpoints, while receiver-side HDMI re-clocking helps address signal compatibility and handshaking issues. Power over Cable (PoC) lets the supplied adapter power both units from either end. Blustream recommends F/UTP CAT6A cabling or better, and achievable distance depends on the video format, cable and installation environment. Included mounting hardware supports installation near the source and display.
