The BOSS AC-22LX acoustic guitar amplifier is a compact 10-watt stereo amp for acoustic-electric guitars and other pickup-equipped acoustic instruments. Its dual 5-inch speakers and Air Feel processing recreate the depth and spatial character of traditional stereo microphone techniques while providing dedicated instrument and microphone channels for performance, practice, recording, and streaming.

Five Air Feel modes - Dry, XY, AB, ORTF, and Mid-Side - let players shape how an amplified acoustic instrument occupies the stereo field. The Guitar/Instrument channel includes three-band EQ, reverb, and reverb-plus-chorus processing, while the microphone channel adds an XLR input with 48 V phantom power, two-band EQ, and dedicated reverb. Fifteen memories provide fast recall of frequently used sound setups.

The AC-22LX also supports modern performance and content-creation workflows with an onboard Rhythm Box, built-in looper, stereo line outputs, auxiliary input, and USB audio with Loopback. It operates from the included AC adapter or eight AA batteries for portable use. The AC-22LX Editor expands sound editing and rhythm options, while optional Bluetooth, wireless MIDI, expression, and footswitch accessories provide additional control.
