Description
BOSS EQ-200 Graphic Equalizer Pedal
The BOSS EQ-200 is the most flexible compact equalizer ever created for guitar and bass, featuring dual independent 10-band graphic EQ channels in a pedalboard-friendly format with a built-in graphic LCD display showing your EQ curve in real time. Designed with the philosophy "Simply Sophisticated," the EQ-200 packs an extraordinary depth of tone-shaping capability into an intuitive, hands-on interface that delivers instant results without deep menu divingāand supports advanced signal routing configurations for complex pedalboard and recording setups.
Each of the two EQ channels provides a full 10-band graphic equalizer with up to 15 dB of boost or cut per band and an overall level control, allowing precise compensation for room acoustics, instrument character, or amplifier response. Three selectable frequency range types optimize EQ performance for guitar (30 Hzā12.8 kHz), bass (32 Hzā16 kHz), or a wide-range setting (28 Hzā14 kHz), ensuring accuracy across all instruments and applications. A stereo link function combines both channels for true stereo operation, and series/parallel/stereo signal flow configurations provide maximum routing versatility.
The EQ-200's onboard memory stores up to 128 total setups (127 user memories plus a manual setting), and MIDI program change recall allows seamless integration into any MIDI-controlled rig. An insert function supports pre/post external effects processing, and two customizable footswitches handle on-the-fly A/B comparisons or memory switching. The unit supports expression pedal and external footswitch control and features MIDI I/O via mini TRS jacks. USB connectivity supports firmware updates. Runs on three AA batteries or optional PSA-series AC adapter.
