BOSS GA-FC EX Foot Controller for Select BOSS Amplifiers

The BOSS GA-FC EX foot controller provides expanded hands-free control for compatible BOSS amplifiers, including supported Katana Gen 3 and Katana MkII models. Six heavy-duty footswitches handle channel selection, effects, and other amplifier functions, while two-color indicators make the active control state easy to see during rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performances.

The GA-FC EX extends the original GA-FC design with two dedicated expression pedal inputs and a third multifunction control connection. EXPAND mode links another GA-FC EX or GA-FC for additional switches, FOOT CONTROL 2 mode operates two compatible amplifiers, and EXP PEDAL 3 mode adds a third expression pedal. These options make the controller useful for guitarists building more flexible stage and studio amplifier rigs.

A rugged metal chassis supports repeated professional use, while a single 1/4-inch tip-ring-sleeve (TRS) cable connects the controller to a compatible amplifier without requiring an external power supply. The GA-FC EX also works as a standard GA-FC controller with a wider range of BOSS and Roland products, including selected Nextone, Katana Bass, Acoustic Singer, Blues Cube, Gigcaster, and SDE-3000 models.
