The BOSS GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor is a flagship floor-based multi-effects system for guitar and bass, combining AIRD amp technology with 185 effect types, 32-bit conversion, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 96 kHz sampling. It also provides 500 patches, extensive routing, integrated expression control, USB audio/MIDI, and Bluetooth editing.

Players building a professional guitar multi-effects rig can run two amps and up to 24 effects within a patch, arrange processing in series or parallel, and integrate external pedals through two effects loops. Independent main and XLR sub outputs suit guitar amplifiers, full-range systems, recording setups, and simultaneous stage-and-FOH configurations.

Ten assignable footswitches, an integrated expression pedal, and a 512 x 160-dot backlit display support detailed real-time control.
