With its intuitive color touchscreen display and a meticulously designed control surface featuring eight custom footswitches, an integrated expression pedal, and send/return loop, the GX-100 empowers guitarists to craft great sounds in seconds and perform with complete confidence on stage or in the studio.
AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology delivers authentic tube amplifier tone and touch response across 32 amp types, with wide speaker cabinet selection and support for WAV-format impulse responses for unlimited cabinet customization. The 15 assignable effect blocks support series and parallel routing configurations for sophisticated signal chain design, and 200 user memory slots plus 100 presets provide comprehensive storage for any live or studio application. The built-in phrase looper offers 38 seconds (mono) or 19 seconds (stereo) of recording capacity for practice and performance.
MIDI I/O and USB multi-channel recording integrate the GX-100 into professional studio and live rigs of any complexity, and optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor support enables wireless editing via BOSS Tone Studio (macOS/Windows) and BOSS Tone Exchange for community patch sharing. Version 2.0 firmware expanded the platform with three new MDP guitar amps, six new bass amps, and seven additional effect types including the SD-1, DS-1, Slicer, Humanizer, Sitar Sim, Auto Wah, and Feedbackerāconfirming the GX-100's position as a continually evolving professional platform.
