The BOSS IR-200 Amp & IR Cabinet Simulator Pedal combines eight guitar amps, three bass amps, 154 preset cabinet impulse responses, and 128 user IR slots in a compact direct-sound processor. It supports mono or stereo IRs, dual-IR processing, 128 memories, USB audio, MIDI control, and flexible routing for stage, studio, and practice.

Guitarists and bassists can build direct tones for a PA, recording system, headphones, or conventional amplifier without relying on a separate cabinet. Two cabinet IRs can run simultaneously for blended or stereo sounds, while two configurable EQ blocks, three ambience types, and a movable effects loop provide deeper tone shaping. The 128 memories make complex live and studio configurations easy to recall.

High-resolution processing operates at 96 kHz with 32-bit conversion and 32-bit floating-point DSP. Custom impulse responses can be loaded in mono or stereo WAV format at up to 500 ms. Stereo outputs, an auxiliary input, headphone monitoring, external control, TRS MIDI, and USB audio interface functionality make the IR-200 suitable for professional pedalboards, recording workflows, livestreaming, and silent practice.
