Five independent effect sections (Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, Reverb) provide comprehensive tone shaping, while three Cabinet Resonance options (Vintage, Modern, Deep) and a three-way Contour control allow further voicing refinement. The Power Control feature enables cranked-amp tone and feel at any volume level from stage-ready maximum down to 0.5 watts for quiet practice.

Eight Tone Setting memories store complete amp-and-effect configurations for instant live recall, and the updated BOSS Tone Studio app (Windows/macOS/iOS/Android) provides deep editing and integration with the BOSS Tone Exchange sound-sharing platform. USB-C connectivity enables direct computer and mobile recording, while the Stereo Expand function supports dual-amp configurations.
