Three distinctive preamp voicings—Vintage, Flat, and Modern—each supported by a three-way Shape switch, provide a wide tonal palette. A comprehensive four-band EQ with selectable frequency centers for the low-mid and high-mid bands gives precise control over the bass character, while a dedicated Blend section allows dry signal mixing for preserving fundamental tone. Four independent effect sections (Comp/Limiter, Drive, FX1, FX2) provide over 60 total effect types accessible through BOSS Tone Studio software, with the FX2 section including delay and reverb built in.
