The BOSS MS-3 Multi Effects Switcher combines a programmable effects processor and three-loop pedal switcher in one compact floor unit for guitar and bass. It can run up to six internal effects simultaneously while integrating three external pedals, giving players centralized control over effects, routing, amp switching, and MIDI-equipped gear.

With 112 built-in effects types and 200 patch locations, the MS-3 supports everything from streamlined stage rigs to more complex hybrid pedalboards. Players looking for a compact guitar pedalboard switching system can combine favorite analog stompboxes with onboard delays, reverbs, modulation, pitch processing, overdrive, distortion, and other effects. Memory and Manual modes provide flexible preset recall or direct footswitch control during performance.

The MS-3 uses 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion at a 44.1 kHz sampling rate and provides stereo outputs, three external effect loops, control connections, MIDI output, and USB computer connectivity. The free MS-3 Editor/Librarian software supports patch editing, parameter assignments, backups, restores, and Live Set organization from compatible Mac and Windows computers.
